Hello visitors! Good Morning! In this sunday, we was launch the new database definition for all version of AVEL AntiVirus. Include version 1.0 Build 1.0 until version 1.4. This Virus Database Definition can downloaded freely and easily. The process of updating database is so easy, you only need to download this new virus database definition, and then copy it to the same folder as AVEL is take by. And, don’t forget to firstly terminate the running process of AVEL AntiVirus.

If you don’t understand and can’t follow that instruction, this is the detail instruction:

1. Download this AVEL Virus Database Definition
2. Close/Un-Load/Terminate the process of AVEL AntiVirus
3. Open the folder when the AVEL is take by
4. Copy the downloaded virus database definition into the folder when the AVEL is take by. If the window “Confirm File Replace” dialog is shown, easily click “Yes”
5. Run again AVEL AntiVirus, and…
6. The update process is sucesfully.

You can check it with opening the Virus List menu, if the virus list is grow up, it’s mean the Update process is sucesfully running without any problem.

PostScript: Never delete the AVEL AntiVirus Database Definition (the file that have .dat extention), because if you delete it, AVEL will be error and can’t be run. You must download the AVEL Package again to avoid the comming error.

Avel anti virus version 1.4 was successfully launch with the new feature:

•   Integrity Check, use two method: HEX Algorithm and CRC Algorithm. When the AVEL is called, he call the function of selfcheck(), if the return is true, the AVEL is fine, but if the return is false, avel is bad condition or may be has been hacked.
• Scanning Speed, use IsExe algorithm to check are the file is executable or not. So the speed is more 100% faster than the older
• New Database, add the new virus database, now AVEL is more good than the older.
• Attribute Check, in the Older version, AVEL can’t scan the hidden or super hiden file. With this Algorithm, AVEL can scan all file and delete all file use the Force method.
